Town center, lovely building
Loved the location and was able to drive around the Beara Peninsula and countryside.
Unfortunately no lift for heavy suitcases.
The staff were very helpful - especially the night porter as we arrived very late and he was very accommodating.
the way the staff done their job with no fuss but pleasant
location was great for travelling around for the weekend
no lift when we arrived with our bags.
This is an old hotel located right in centre of Tralee. It is not very modern but clean and comfortable none the less. Staff were very polite and helpful. We had a good breakfast and it was good value for Tralee.
Car park is very small and difficult to access. However there is parking on street and at nearby car parks.
we appriciated the quitness of the hotel and the lovely hospitality of the gentleman on the night shift, who very willingly served us at the bar late at night
The attention and service we had from the team at the Imperial Hotel was second to none, and the Imperial breakfast was among the best we have had in Ireland. It is great to find a hotel with parking in the centre of Tralee
friendly staff, very good value for money, excellent location for shopping, very centeral and easy to find either on foot or in car, good food, rooms were very nice.
parking area very small and tight, not much space. Breakfast times could be lenghted a little bit longer by an hour. serve 7.30-11 a.m instead of 7.30 to10 a.m. Just after a night out getting up before 10 a.m on a sunday morning is a little early.
Staff very friendly, rooms clean but no frills. Ideal for what I wanted to pay.
There was no hot water all Sunday morning!
dirty bathroom eg toilet not cleaned
The shopping around the hotel.
The breakfast was poor, the room was small and looked dingy. We had to pickup a used earbud off the carpet floor and throw it away.
The friendliness & courteous manner of the staff. We liked the food. A very relaxing place even during the Festival Week!!! Once the bedroom door was closed one would not know the Festival was taking place all around us!!! It is so central.
No, we loved it very much. Nothing to complain about at all.
Staff very friendly night porter most helpful
This was the surprise of our trip to Ireland. We had decided just days before leaving for 2 weeks in the British Isles that we wanted a night away from Dublin near the Dingle Peninsular. I made the reservation by reading the reviews online and we were not disappointed one bit. The hotel's interior is simply gorgeous and the breakfast we enjoyed was the best of our trip. The surprise was that the cost was included in our room rate. The staff was very gracious and efficient. The rooms were very clean and neat and the bathrooms large enough for two people to be in at the same time. We've not found that true in a lot of places in the British Isles. Great place. If we come near Dingle again, we will certainly book a night or two at the Imperial in Tralee. You will see James' name at the end of this review but Sue, his wife, made the reservations and is writing this review. Thanks for a great stay.
Finding the parking lot behind the hotel was the hardest thing to do. We ended up going in the wrong way but thankfully no one was coming out and there was a parking space big enough for our van. Otherwise I can think of nothing we didn't like.
